Flex Power Tools WSE-500 Giraffe Sander 110 Volt

The Flex WSE 500 is a long-neck sander, also know as a Classic Giraffe Sander.

The WSE 500 has a universal-joint-mounted sanding head and soft backing pad which helps to prevent grooving and scratching and ensures a perfect finish. This makes the Giraffe sander ideally suited for sanding plaster boards, solid styropor insulation slabs and preparation for painting and polishing.

It has VE electronic control, with constant speed control and speed pre-selection by an adjusting wheel.

The sanding head has spring suspension, which allows the sanding head to adjust itself perfectly to all uneven surfaces. This ensures for a gentle surface contact and also stops dust escaping. It has effective dust extraction from between the brush ring and the sanding pad and through the 10-hole extraction ports which prevents premature clogging of the abrasive and promotes a healthy, dust-free working environment.

The dust extraction system with FLEX clip-on system features a brush ring on the sanding head and a connecter for a FLEX safety vacuum cleaner at the rear end of the guide tube.
