This Kidde 0918UK has the most up to date ionisation technology - ionisation alarms are quicker at detecting fast flaming fires.* when used inconjunction with photoelectric smoke alarms. There is also a warning chirp that sounds when the battery needs replacing. It has a loud 85 decibel alarm and is supplied with mounting bracket for fast and easy installation. The 0915 has tamper resistant pin this inhibits tampering with the smoke alarm and battery removal.
