Plastikote Crackle Touch Colony Cream 400ml

Crackle from Plastikote is a two-part system of a base coat and a top coat that uses two incompatible paints to give objects an antique look. The depth and width of crackle can be influenced by building up several layers of the base-coat.

The top-coat should be applied while base-coat is still tacky.

Drying time:

Base coat: allow 2-5 minutes between base coat applications.

Top coat: apply while base coat is still tacky.

Touch dry in 1020 minutes, Thoroughly dry in 30-50 minutes, depending on number of coats.

Coverage: approximately 223 m 2 (coverage varies by colour and application)

For a light crackle effect - apply 2 light coats of base coat and then apply one even layer of top-coat.
For a medium crackle effect - apply 2 heay base coats and while still tacky, spray 2 to 3 even layers of top-coat.
For a large crackle effect - apply 2 heavy base coats and while still tacky, spray 3 to 4 even layers of top-coat.
